Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) is a classic Disney fairytale. The wicked Queen, Snow White's stepmother, is jealous. She wants to be known as 'the fairest in the land,' however, Snow White's beauty surpasses her own by far. To hide from the Queen, Snow White takes refuge in the forest, where she finds the little house of the Seven Dwarfs. Day after day, Snow White cleans their house and cooks their meals. The dwarfs grow to love their unexpected visitor. One day, while the dwarfs are at work digging in their diamond mine, the wicked Queen, disguised as an old peddler woman arrives at the cottage doorstep with a cunning plan. She persuades Snow White to bite into a poisoned apple and puts her under a death like spell. The dwarfs rush frantically home after being warned by the forest animals to chase the Queen away. But, they are too late to save Snow White. Upset, the seven dwarfs place her in a glass coffin in the forest. A miracle has happened and the Prince, who has fallen in love with Snow White, awakens her from the evil spell with 'true love's first kiss.'
