Peanuts

Peanuts Designs by Jim Shore

Charles M. Schulz’s famous comic creation Peanuts first appeared in print in 1950, and over the next fifty years established a legacy which forever changed the landscape of American comic strips.

Jim Shore uses decorative motifs inspired by American and European folk-art, and as a widely-recognised American icon itself, Peanuts is the ideal vehicle for the Jim Shore treatment.

The figurines features Snoopy in various guises with a selection of core characters from the strip, including his best friend and confidante, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, his long-suffering master, and Lucy, the bossiest girl in the neighbourhood and Charlie Brown’s foil. In characteristic fashion, award winning artist, Jim Shore’s colourful and themed motifs adorn the characters and their shaped bases, enriching the sentiment and humour behind each piece.
